Autumn Colors

We went to Portland again. This time I scheduled three appointments in one day so I wouldn't have to go three times. We started out at the lower campus by the Willamette River and then rode the tram up to my second appointment at the main campus on Marquam Hill. I loved all the fall colors on the hills between the two areas.

We don't have the vivid colors at the coast. I guess our temperatures aren't cold enough.

I was so excited my first year of college in Eugene at the University of Oregon to experience the leaves falling and walking through them and kicking them up in the air.

These buildings were up on the hill (at the medical school known as OHSU).

More pretty trees.

These are in the coast range at higher altitudes.

We stopped in Beaverton for my third appointment and now we are hurrying because tonight is Halloween.

I wished the sun were shining on these trees.

The sun is setting and we made it home in time for Barry, Michelle and the twins to go to the Convention Center in Seaside for Halloween activities.

Great post mom. It turned out very nice. I love the picture of the tram with all the fall leaves in the background. It is nice to travel inland to see the fall colors. Barry and I love to visit Eugene. Keep working on your blog and I'll try to help out when I can. Love ya.

Yeah! You're back online...i've missed you. Your photos turned out beautifully. It is gorgeous to live in a place that has trees and real seasons. Here it looks the same year round. In fact, it hasn't even gotten cold yet and it is already November! For Halloween, we all wore t-shirts and we all still felt too warm that night. Well, I am up late again blogging, doing homework and writting papers, making a lesson plan for my first YW church lesson for December and putting together fun goodie bags for Zoey's B-day. Night Night-Love you, Jenn

It is good to see you post again. I loved all the beautiful fall foliage that you shared with us. I'm with Jen, it just looks the same here, but you know that, you lived in Vegas for a very long time, you deserve to see all the things you missed for so long. Hope you're feeling okay, we worry about you. Love you, Debbie
