January 2009

Here I finally am --five months behind and trying to catch up with my blogging.

Here is Chantrell climbing up my leg with Brenna behind her. Brenna was still crawling on her elbows doing what Michelle and Barry called her "army crawl".

Here is Brenna on her tummy and elbows. She had a hard time trying to catch up with Chantrell.

Michelle is working on the fixings for her birthday. She makes the meals and the cakes for everyone including herself.

Racer is enjoying his food. He looks like a chipmunk with his mouth stuffed full.

Ryder and Racer enjoying their hamburgers and potato salad.

Barry, Michelle and Racer. Michelle is ready to blow out her candle and open her presents. She has quite a display of cards.

Posing for another picture with niece Rhiannon and nephews Ryder and Racer.

Brenna and Chantrell waiting for their cake.

We have a tradition of celebrating Michelle's birthday on Superbowl Sunday, hence the football shaped cake.

We call this fawn an albino since it is so unusual with all the white.

It is so cool to see the herd of elk lounging around in Surf Pines.

They are down the hill from the neighbor's house by the pond.

The beach grass still looks like straw. It turns green later in the spring.

An eagle takes flight from the stick at the top of the sand dunes.

A neat looking teepee some kids constructed on the beach.

Cute Brenna with her stuffed animal.

I can't figure out why the kids are so interested when the babies get their diapers changed. They even want to use the baby wipes and help and if it is poop, they want to know what color it is. Wierd!

Chantrell is being unusually still and patient,

Racer is showing off his Spiderman book. His mouth is stuffed full again.

Ryder is looking at his books. I think these were from Ryder's school book order.

Brenna loves to climb on her big stuffed animals.

Rhiannon, Ryder and the twins.

Brenna is such a cuddly cutie.

Here is Chantrell under her exersaucer.

Fun pictures mom! That albino deer is so cute. The family looks busy and happy. It's nice that you have company and interesting things going on. Love you!

Kind of looks like my house, kids everywhere. It keeps life exciting. Kaleb and Kylee are leaving for Alaska this Saturday with their mom for the summer and the school year of 2009-2010. We will definitely miss them. Ashlynn and Tristen went to their Dads house for the summer.

Always fun to look at pictures of the kids from your perspective. We will have to see how your pictures turn out from your new camera. I love how the candid shots of me changing Chantrell turned out.
