DeWayne and I had a fun day in Astoria today. For one thing it was SUNNY, and coolish-warm with a slight breeze off the Columbia River. The air smelled so good. We went to the outdoor market and ate our way through it with our favorites. We started with grilled Italian sausages on buns and ended with Humdinger karamelkorn (still hot) and home-made fudge. They sold out of their white Pina Colada "fudge" because a cruise ship was in town and several buses full of tourists came to the market. Afterwards we drove to where we thought the sea lions were and heard MOM, MOM, GRANDMA, GRANDMA, GRANDMA!!! We were surprised to see Tiffany, the kids and their friend Josh. Tiffany said she thought this was where we were. We decided to look for the sea lions next time and went and looked at the cruise ship instead.

Mom, your blog is looking great!! I like how the picture is first and then the text is under it. It flows much better. And your pictures look better and more clear. I want to try that on my blog too. I need to make my text bigger so it's easier to read.
Yes, it is looking super. It's confusing because when I post my pictures, the story went backwards. It's hard to explain, I really love this idea of family blogging...so much fun. Love Deb
Who's Josh?
Josh is a 19 year old kid who is living under a bridge or with friends when he can. Tiffy met him somewhere and told him to apply at the pool so now he is lifeguarding and saving up for a car or truck (to sleep in). The kids love him as he plays with them just like a big brother and Tiffy was attracted to him but realizes he is too young. She has another friend now that has a car, job and apartment and is older--24, 27?
