Rhiannon and Ryder's Birthday Party

The kids were in Las Vegas so Tiffany planned a late birthday party here. Tiffany, Adam, and Barry are busy in the kitchen,

The kids are in the dining room prepared to do arts and crafts before eating.

Racer is cutting and making a party headband that Michelle found under cool projects online.

Michelle, Barry and the Twins are here!

DeWayne went to Portland to the airport on Saturday morning to get Michelle and the babies. Barry was supposed to get here Sunday morning but he surprised us by getting here on Saturday evening at 9 p.m. He drove 17 hours straight to get here. In this photo De and Barry are unloading the car, and then the truck at the storage unit.

When they drove to Seaside to return the truck and car trailer they got caught in a huge traffic jam. It was the Hood to Coast relay race which meant 17,000 runners and support vehicles decended on Seaside.

This is how you feed two babies at the same time!

Brenna is on the left and Chantrell on the right.

Michelle is taking care of the twins. She said she is really glad to be here and I am glad to see her too!

Michelle and Chantrell. I am pretty good at telling them apart now.

Ryder is holding Brenna on the left and Racer has Chantrell.

Rhiannon got a special school shopping day with Michelle and me to Payless shoes, Subway and Fred Meyer.

It was quite a production for Michelle to have to load and unload two babies as well as my wheelchair. She starts 4th grade next Tuesday on the day after Labor Day.

The next outing was with Ryder to Fred Meyer. He got shirts, shoes and school stuff for Kindergarten.

Ryder rode the rocking horse at Fred Meyer while Michelle and Barry finished going through the checkout line. Then we went to the new Home Depot store and I got four bookcases to put on the upstairs bridge to hold more of my books. Barry built them today and they look really nice.

Another Trip to Lincoln City

Here is another of my travelogues. This is scenic Highway 101 on Neah-Kah-Nie Mt.

This highway is carved out of the rock on the side of the mountain.

Wire netting help keep rocks from falling on the highway

A view looking south with the town of Manzanita and Nehalem Bay is behind it.

This is the coast guard station in my home town of Garibaldi.

A longer view looking down the coast.

A train with a steam engine in Rockaway Beach. The next time anyone comes to visit we will have to ride on it.

For $30 you can even ride in the cab with the engineer. I can't remember the price for the caboose, but I think the regular train cars cost around $15.

This is a really cool museum with lots of old planes. We called this the blimp base when I was growing up.

Beautiful fields, trees and mountains south of Tillamook in Pleasant Valley.

Tillamook County is the land of trees, cheese and ocean breezes.

Rhiannon, Ryder and Racer Return

Here is Racer with his new buzzed haircut. I was sad to see his curls go.

Ryder with his new look.

Rhiannon looks the same.

The kids new half-sister Madison.

I took pictures of the ones the kids brought back with them. They went to a photographer in Las Vegas while they were there. Here are the kids holding their new sister, Madison, who is four months old.

See--I really am finally getting pictures sorted and put into albums.
